About DXC Technology
DXC Technology was born out of a massive corporate merger in 2017. Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), one of the oldest IT firms in the US, merged with the Enterprise Services division of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (which itself consisted largely of the former EDS, acquired by HP in 2008).
This heritage means DXC inherited some of the largest, most complex, and mission-critical IT contracts in the world—managing systems for governments, defense agencies, and Fortune 500 banks. Over a third of DXC's global workforce operates out of India, driving its global delivery model.
