About HCLTech
HCL Enterprise was founded in 1976 by Shiv Nadar and a group of engineers in a small garage in Delhi. Originally focusing on hardware, HCL designed one of India's first indigenous microcomputers in 1978. In 1991, as the software boom began, HCL Technologies was spun off to focus purely on software and IT services.
Today, HCLTech is a global IT powerhouse known for its 'Ideapreneurship' culture and strong capabilities in Engineering and R&D services (ERS). The company recently rebranded from HCL Technologies to HCLTech to emphasize its position as a holistic tech provider rather than just an IT outsourcer.
