About Nestlé

Nestlé is the largest food and beverage company in the world. It was formed in 1905 by the merger of the Anglo-Swiss Milk Company and Farine Lactée Henri Nestlé, a company founded in 1867 to produce life-saving infant cereal. Nestlé operates with a highly decentralized structure, allowing local markets significant autonomy.

In India, Nestlé is synonymous with Maggi noodles, which completely defined the instant noodle category in the country. Beyond Maggi, Nestlé India dominates instant coffee (Nescafé), infant nutrition (Cerelac, Lactogen), and premium chocolates (KitKat). Globally, its pet care division (Purina) and health science units are massive growth drivers.
