About Zoho

Zoho was founded in 1996 as AdventNet by Sridhar Vembu and Tony Thomas, initially building network management software (WebNMS). In 2005, it pivoted to cloud-based business applications, launching Zoho CRM, and eventually rebranded as Zoho Corporation in 2009. The company famously remains completely privately held and bootstrapped.

Zoho offers Zoho One, a suite of over 50 applications running an entire business from sales and marketing to finance and HR. Beyond software, Zoho is deeply recognized for 'Zoho Schools' (an alternative to traditional college) and its strategy of building world-class software from rural offices in deep-tier Indian towns like Tenkasi.
